Drone Day is an annual celebration of drone, community, and experimental sounds. Contributing to this international event, we invite you to two public events during the evenings of May 29th & 30th, 2026 at Moodswing Coffee + Bar (655 Front St, New Westminster).
In addition, we are offering sound and synthesizer workshops to prepare and warm up for Drone Day performances. Workshops explore sound art and creative making with sound. Learn from our Creative Tech Instructors alongside other enthusiastic sound explorers like yourself. Learn more below:

A collaborative and improvisational piece, Echoes of the Sound mixes music drawn from left-field ambient and fourth-world vinyl records, coupled with field-recordings and found sounds.

Are you a Touchdesigner artist interested in providing audio-reactive visuals for Drone Day? Contact us at artandtechnology@newwestcity.ca for more information on how to submit a Touchdesigner file that will be used to accompany Drone day performances. It will be a simple setup with a single performance window (1920×1080) and an Audio Device In CHOP to pick up sound.
