Intricate Rituals: Art & Technology New Media Mentorship

New Media Gallery is proud to be bringing together ten students from Emily Carr University’s New Media and Sound Art, and MFA programs to develop new media artwork for display.

Intricate Rituals examines technology as both subject and object, tracing intimate and entangled encounters between body, media, and movement. Through interactive installations, performance, sound, and video, the exhibition reflects on the limits, thresholds, and choreographies that shape our ever-evolving digital culture. What emerges when our relationship to technology becomes a site of inquiry, and at times, a site of friction?

Intricate Rituals is the first Art & Technology New Media Mentorship program, presented at New Media Gallery.
